Andrea Ciuccio

Hailing from Naples, Italy, Andrea Ciuccio joined W Algarve in early January, bringing over a decade of experience in renowned global kitchens. His passion for cooking shines through a creative and authentic approach that harmonises global flavours with the richness of local ingredients.

Andrea's career began in Sydney at Manta Restaurant & Bar and continued to grow in Barcelona, where he worked at prestigious venues such as Monvinic and Alkimia, an awarded Michelin-star eatery. His experience also includes serving as Senior Sous Chef in the Cayman Islands at Grand Old House, before returning to Barcelona to join W Barcelona as consultant and Sous Chef. Now, the Algarve is his new stage to express his creativity, inspired by its sea, flavours, and unique landscapes.
